The Georges Apartments are located in Polichrono village, one of the most popular tourist destinations of Cassandra, the first Peninsula-Finger of Chalkidiki, just 200 meters from the beach.

The story of Polihrono begins about 650 BC, when the snippet was from Naples Eretria which was destroyed in 540 AD from the Huns. In the 11th century, founded the village of "Polychroo", named so because of the many flowers that were there. In 1821 torched Polychrono and destroyed. Later some survivors rebuild the village.

Polychrono is literally "built" into the sea, with beautiful beach that enchants the visitor with its vast territory, of which about one km passes through the village, and has been awarded a blue flag by the European Union for Quality and the cleanliness.

Apart from the sea and beaches, you can explore the beautiful surrounding woodland and discover the hidden paradises such as wetland pond "Mavrobara" with unique and rare species of European water-tortoises Testudinata (testudo hermanii boetgeri, emys orbicularis & mauremys caspica).

In the area there are shops where you can rent cars, off-road vehicles (Jeep type), motorbikes and mountain bikes. Also organized by various agencies on many trips and cruises, where you can go around the Mount Athos from the sea to admire the buildings of the monastic Community, to visit the cave of Petralona, ??and the Thessaloniki market to do the shopping. Also you can visit the archaeological sites of Vergina and Dion and the monastic community of Meteora.
